Title: Portals of Dark Matter

Abstract: What “seemingly” makes up 84% of the matter content in the Universe is so-called Dark Matter. So far all evidence for DM is purely gravitational and its identification is a mystery not yet solved. It is still a big challenge for model-builders and experimentalists. However to detect a non-gravitational signal, models to interpret a possible DM message are needed. The Simplified Model, which introduces the Portal concept, is the most common approach used. The portal would represent an additional strategic particle, since it open the possibility of directly detect it and it could be a way to have a look into dark sector. Among the plethora of Dark Matter candidates, we can find particles that scan a wide range of masses. I will introduce a new Simplified Model for a Weakly Interacting Massive Particle, called the Vector-like Portal, which connects the hidden and the visible sector through a Vector-like fermion and promotes a real scalar Dark Matter. Finally I will introduce a particle which could connect the Standard Model to light DM sector, the axion-like particle, and its phenomenology in accelerator physics.
