The National Scientific Committee 3 (CSN3) of the INFN coordinates nuclear physics research in Italy. The main goal of CSN3 is to study how the elementary constituents of matter, quarks, combine to form atomic nuclei. To achieve this, the experiments conducted by CSN3 study high-energy particle collisions, allowing the observation of the behavior of nuclei under extreme conditions. CSN3 actively collaborates with international scientific institutions to carry out highly significant experiments, and the Tor Vergata Section is involved in the following activities:
